Wireless Security Systems for Apartments

If you live in a rental such as an apartment, condo, duplex, etc., you may want to think about using a wireless system. Some landlords are unable or unwilling to have a professional hardwire system installed. Chances are that you're not willing to sink your cash into a rental either. Not to mention that the landlord may not appreciate all the drilling or marks that could be left on the walls. There are various wireless options such as motion sensors that can be placed on doors and windows, panic buttons that can call for help when your alarm is triggered, and wireless home automation such as timers that will turn on some lights at a specified time of the day or evening.

How's your Neighborhood

This is a very important question to be asking yourself. Many people only worry about their home and what's in it. Yes this is important also but, have you really thought about the safety of YOUR neighborhood? With so many things going on in our country right now, things are getting tougher by the day. Inflation has put a crunch on many Americans and some have resorted to wanting what you have. If these unscrupulous persons feel that your neighborhood is an easy target, they WILL take advantage of the situation.

Now, you're probably asking yourself what all of this has to do with you. After all, most of us aren't wealthy enough to buy security systems for everyone in the neighborhood. Neighborhood watches are a good deterrent but you're relying on the availability of people. While most people are good and have good intentions, not everyone is reliable. So what are your options? If you happen to live in an area with an HOA, then one option is to think about installing neighborhood cameras. But not everyone is going to agree with that solution. Another option is to go ahead and have an alarm installed in your home. Alarm systems don't have to be expensive. If you do a little research you will find that there are affordable systems that can do the job of protecting you, your family and your property. Here's another piece of information that people, in general, don't realize. With an alarm system installed and monitored, you could save up to 20% on your homeowners insurance. In other words, if you don't over pay with a monthly monitoring fee, your system could end up paying for itself. WOW! That sounds like a fantastic option! Now suppose you were to inform your neighbors of that same idea. Soon your entire neighborhood could be truly safe!

There are some companies out there that will take care of everything for you. There is absolutely nothing wrong with their service and they have a proven track record. But, you're going to pay for it. In the current economic state that we find ourselves in, you have to ask yourself where are the savings? Then there are some companies that are offering a very low monthly monitoring rate (over the internet). But they can't afford to offer any real services to speak of because their prices are too low. So if anything goes wrong with your system, you're left to the available resources out there and they don't come cheap. So it seems that the only one left is mid-range. At AJ's Security we believe in keeping the cost down but increasing the services that you receive. Our goal is to keep all of the unnecessary overhead down to a minimum and pass that savings on to you. We would love to have the opportunity to speak with you in further detail on all of our services. Then we can begin to help you stay safe and save money.  Remember, .66 cents a day gives you all the protection you need!
