Return Policy
1. All claims for
shortage, damage, shipment errors, or defective equipment must be
made within three (3) days after receipt of shipment.
2. No returns accepted without an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
3. Merchandise return time limit: 20 days from date of delivery.
4. Return Shipment: Authorized return must be shipped prepaid. For your own protection, insure the return shipment.
5. Authorization Defined: Return authorization does not guarantee that return will be accepted, exchanged or a payment refunded.
6. Return will be accepted if it is within the policy herein stated and the item is confirmed defective.
7. A copy of the ORIGINAL ORDER CONFIRMATION must be included with the merchandise.
8. AJ’s Security does not pay the return
shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for
product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we
carry. However, AJ’s Security will split the shipping costs with
you. If you pay to send the item back to AJ’s Security, AJ’s
Security will replace the item and ship the item to you at no
charge. AJ’s Security will employ every resource it has to ensure
that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle.
9. Once we receive the package, we'll inspect it
for any shipping damage and our RMA department will check the RMA
form and test the product to determine reason for return. Once we
determine the reason or cause for return we will replace, repair or
return to the manufactory according to our return policy. A
Return Merchandise Authorization number will then be
automatically generated by our system, and an email notification
will be sent to notify you of the returned merchandise.
RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION (RMA)
1.
Return freight is at
the customers’ expense. NO EXCEPTIONS.
2.
AJ’s Security
LLC is not responsible for any physical damages sustained during
transit and will void any warranty.
3.
Warranty replacements
will be for hardware defects only. Warranty does NOT include defects
arising from improper or abnormal use, improper handling, or
improper installation.
4.
A copy of the original
invoice must be included with any returned items.
5.
An RMA number issued by
AJ’s Security LLC must be visible on the outside of the package.
Any returns without an RMA number are subject to refusal.
6.
Out-of-Warranty
items and units with virus or third party software problems will be
charged at the rate of $125 per hour.
7.
Warranties are void if
the factory seal is broken. Items will be charged as
Out-of-Warranty. No Exceptions.
8.
All non-defective
returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
9.
Defective products
received after 20 days will be repaired or replaced at our
discretion.
10.
Returns received after
20 days of the original invoice date will be returned to you at your
expense or assessed a 30% restocking fee per our discretion.
11.
Please indicate any
third party hardware or software installed in a system. AJ’s
Security is NOT responsible for any third party hardware, software,
installation or any problems caused by it. We recommend the removal
of any third party hardware and/or software before sending the
system for repair.
12.
Please be sure to
backup your hard drive. AJ’s Security will not be held responsible
for any data loss.
13.
There should be no
visible physical damage to the products such as: foreign material
(adhesive, oil, dirt, gum, etc.); damaged covers, housings, or
cases; dents of any kind; visible scratches; missing parts (screws,
interface cards, components, etc...); evidence of tampering (e.g.
broken seals); damaged electronics (missing buttons, IC chips,
etc...); bent casing; stripped connectors (missing BNC, RCA or power
connectors); if there are non-manufacturer markings or labels on the
product or original product box, the product will not be accepted if
there are markings to the box or products such as: RMA numbers,
tape, stickers, labels, labels that cover the serial number, part
number, or any other product identification information; or ripped,
torn, cut or missing packaging.
14.
Item(s) being returned for repair or credit must be in original
packaging with all disks, manuals, registration cards, etc or AJ’s
Security reserves the right to refuse to issue credit or make
repairs. Any packages received which are not adequately packaged in
original box with original packing material or equivalent, or
packages without a visible RMA number will be returned to sender
with all warranties void. Customer will be charged for any missing
software and/or hardware that was originally included with the
system and/or card.
15.
Return the package prepaid. AJ’s Security will not accept
COD’s. For your safety, please return all packages
insured.
16.
RMA forms
partially filled or without detailed description of the problem are
subject to rejection.
17.
RMA numbers will expire
15 days after issuance.
18.
Please Note: RMA
numbers are not automatically generated from the website. RMA
numbers are issued via email within 24-48 hours after an RMA request
has been made.
19.
If you have read and
understood all terms and conditions, please complete the RMA return
form and place inside the box with the item. Items without RMA
number outside the box or RMA form inside will be return to sender.
